The volunteer coordinator shall:
- Work to actively recruit volunteers for committees, projects, and events.
- Coordinate with teachers and other staff to fill specific needs within their classrooms and/or school.
- Update the volunteer blog.
- Work closely with the president and co-president.
- Effectively communicate the volunteer happenings within the school.
This role is mostly virtual and will work directly with school staff and the fundraising volunteers to set up and advertise volunteer opportunities throughout the school year as well as track/report volunteer hours periodically. This volunteer will also need to attend PIC monthly meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month. (Effort: varies on a monthly basis. Somewhere around 5-25 hours a month)
