Spirit Nights at Subway

Halloween
We are asking that students not wear their costumes all day. Rather- students should bring their costumes and change into them between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
- Please send costumes that can be worn over the student's clothing to reduce the number of students using the bathrooms for changing (and the amount of lost clothing!)
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
- Costume parade! Students will parade through the building and outside in front of the school. Parents are invited to line the curb in front of the school and enjoy all of the wonderful costumes!
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm
- Fall/Halloween Parties in classrooms
Specials
Because the proposed schedule will disrupt pm specials and planning times for some teachers, students will be following the Specials schedule below:
9:00 am - 10:00 am
- All Kindergarten and 1st grades
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
- All 2nd-5th grades
Specials teachers are planning an hour-long Fall Celebration for kids that will ensure that all teachers have plan time and all kids have Specials. During this time students will participate in a variety of outdoor activities and games. There is a Plan B in case the weather is bad!
Art Club
Mrs. Steers will offer Art Club from 2:30-3:30 in the art room for anyone who does not celebrate Halloween. Students may come as early as 2:00 if they are uncomfortable with being there while kids are putting on costumes.
Students are invited to bring a treat to share if they wish. Invitations will be shared with teachers including a printable one for kids to take home.
