SAC Members

Are you passionate about supporting your school community and helping guide important decisions? GVA Douglas County is currently looking for a new School Accountability Committee (SAC) Chair for the 2025–2026 school year.

This volunteer position plays a vital role in shaping our school’s goals and priorities. The chairperson should be available to run monthly SAC meetings on the first Tuesday of each month from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. While the state requires SAC to meet at least once per quarter, the frequency of meetings can be determined by the committee collaboration at the beginning of the school year. While ideally monthly would be nice, it may not be necessary, depending on the priorities of the group for the school year.
