This year, our Girls on the Run were not able to do a larger-scale community impact project. so they decided to do one locally at school. At the end of their last practice on Tuesday, May 18, they collected trash and debris around campus to clean up the grounds.
Thursday, May 20, was the culmination of the Girls on the Run season! Our runners completed a 2-mile run on campus and finished with a recognition ceremony.
Some siblings and parents also joined in on the run.
We are wishing a fond farewell to our two 5th graders - Cadence and Kendy - as they prepare to enter middle school next year!
