Traffic Procedures

If you have not already done so, please pick up your QR code with the family number on it from the front office.

AM Arrival

  • The parking lot will be supervised from 7:40-8:05 AM.
  • Students may enter the building at 7:40 AM after a temperature scan and proceed to their morning class. 
  • Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM. 

Before School Care 

  • Begins at 6:30 AM.
  • Innovation Learning will care for your child if you need to drop them off before school.
  • Drop off at the back (playground) door.

Drive Through Drop-off Procedure

  • Begins at 7:40 AM
  • Use all three lanes between the parking lot and the street. (Follow the solid black arrows on the map)
  • Merge into one lane -show your child how to Take Turns! 
  • For curbside drop-off, pull all the way forward to the end of the sidewalk in front of the school.
  • For their safety students should exit cars on the curbside.  Parents should remain in their cars – staff will assist students who need help.
  • Exit the parking lot by pulling out in the left lane once you have dropped off your child.  

Park and Walk-In Procedure

  • Begins at 7:40 AM.
  • Follow the white arrows on the map to the parking lot.
  • Park and walk your child to the crosswalk, or all the way into our school foyer, though not to their classroom.

Temperature Taking Procedure

  • Children in the modular, in the morning, will have their temperature taken by a teacher at the corner of the sidewalk near door B.  They then go directly to their class without entering the main building.
  • Children with their class in the main building will line up and proceed toward the main entrance to have their temperature taken before entering the building.

PM Pick-up

We highly discourage parents from office pick-ups between 3:00 and 3:30 PM as it becomes very disruptive.

  • Students will be dismissed starting at 3:30 PM, please arrive to pick up your child before 4:00 PM.
  • Each family will be issued a sheet of QR codes and a family number. 
  • Cut the code sheets apart and put them in the cars of anyone who might pick up your child from school
  • Please use the physical card or a high contrast/bright photo of the card.
  • When you pick up your child, we will scan your QR code, and your child’s name will light up on projectors in your child(ren)’s classrooms. Once displayed, teachers will dismiss students to the appropriate door.

Walk-up: Door A

  • Follow the white arrows on the map to the parking lot.
  • Use the crosswalk when walking to and from the building.
  • Proceed to Door A (the East door, right side of building).
  • A staff member at that door will scan your code - hold your code facing toward the building for easy scanning.
  • Your child will come down to meet you. 

Drive-up: Door B

  • Use all three lanes between the parking lot and the street. (Follow the solid black arrows on the map)
  • Carefully merge into one lane -show your child(ren) how to Take Turns!  
  • A staff member in the parking lot will scan your code while you remain in your vehicle. Please hold your code facing up, toward the ceiling of your car, or tape it to your passenger side window for easy scanning.
  • Please pull all the way forward to the end of the sidewalk in front of the building.
  • Your child will come out Door B (West doors, left side of building) and we will help them safely get in your car.

If You Lost or Don't Have Your QR Code

  • Please park and come into the office to present ID.  We will call for your child and get you a new QR sheet if needed. 
  • If a friend or family member is picking up, give them a copy of your QR code.  THEY MUST be listed in Infinite Campus (household or non-household relationship) in order to pick up your student. 

If Your QR Code is Having Problems

  • Please contact Christopher Young at [email protected].  He will look into the issue.  

ENCORE / Innovation Learning 

  • Drop off/Pick up your child from the back (playground) door.
  • Your child will be dismissed to ENCORE classes at 3:45 PM.  These classes end at 4:45 PM.
  • Innovation Learning is our Before and After Care partner.  They will care for your child from 3:30 PM until up to 6:00 PM. If you are unexpectedly running late, we will bring your child to Innovation Learning after 4:00 PM, after calling home.
