DCSD Restraining Order

The judge found that based on the evidence presented at the TRO hearing, the PHO violates the rights of students with disabilities.

Therefore, effective immediately, GVA-DC’s previous COVID protocols will be enforced in our school. This means that all students, staff, and visitors will be required to wear face coverings, except for students who have documented medical exemptions from wearing a mask by a Colorado-licensed medical provider. In addition, GVA-DC will reinstitute the quarantine practices set in place before the PHO was issued.

The Temporary Restraining Order is effective for the next two weeks, unless otherwise extended by the judge. We will keep our community updated on any further developments regarding this case. As always, we are thankful for the continued support and cooperation of our GVA-DC community as we navigate these complex times.

Warmly,

Stacy Bush, Principal GVA DC
