From the Principal

  • This important event will take place on Thursday, August 8th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for students with last names beginning with A-L and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for students with last names beginning with M-Z.
  • It is a wonderful opportunity for students and parents to prepare for the upcoming school year and get acquainted with the school community.
Key Activities and Information

Technology Fees and Check-in Passport

  • The first stop at student check-in is to pay the $165 technology fees for each student and pick up your Check-in Passport.
  • Use the fast-pass line by prepaying your student’s technology fees, and be prepared to show your receipt.

School Pictures and Student IDs

  • We will be taking school pictures and student IDs for the yearbook.
  • Student IDs are used to “purchase” lunch.
  • Please ensure that students wear uniform shirts for their pictures!

Parent Involvement Committee and Volunteer Opportunities

  • You can learn more about our Parent Involvement Committee and volunteer opportunities.
  • Remember, we ask all of our families to volunteer 30 hours of time each year!

After School Programs

  • You can learn more about our ENCORE classes and Orchestra with Ms. John and Science Olympiad.

Free Lunch Program and Menus

  • Get information on the Free Lunch program and menus.

Innovation Learning - Before and After School Care

  • Sign up for Innovation Learning, our before and after-school care program.
  • Special pricing during Student Check-in: $19/child or $49/family, a significant savings over the regular rates of $59/child or $99/family!
  • We recommend that all families register for Innovation Learning as a plan “B” for pick-up in case parents are running late.

Health Services

  • Drop off medications and speak with our Health Aide.

 

Uniform Shirts

  • Purchase uniform shirts.

 

Student Schedules and Teacher Meet-and-Greet

 

  • Pick up your student’s schedules and meet their teachers.

 

School Supplies

  • Drop off school supplies to classrooms.
  • If you purchased supplies through EduKits, your student’s supplies will be delivered to their classrooms!

 

Self-Guided Tours

  • Take a self-guided tour of the building.

 

Special Note

  • Completed Passports can be exchanged for a free gift and will be entered into a drawing for prizes to be handed out at the Dragon Bagel Breakfast on Saturday, August 10th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
