From the Principal

Dear Global Village Academy Families,

A Huge Thank You!

We want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to our incredible staff, students, and parent volunteers who helped make the Parker Lunar New Year Event such a success! Over 2,000 people attended, and our GVA-DC activity classroom was busy all day. We were honored to close the event with our amazing student performance — truly saving the best for last!

STAMP Testing Begins This Week – Attendance is Important!

Our 1st-6th grade students will begin STAMP (Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency) testing in their immersion classrooms this week.

This assessment measures reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in multiple languages.

Please ensure your child is present and on time for their immersion classes this week.

Help your child do their best by ensuring they:

  • Get plenty of rest the night before
  • Eat a healthy breakfast
  • Pack healthy snacks for sustained energy
