Dear Global Village Academy Families,
Spring Conferences are a valuable opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, celebrate their progress, and discuss ways to support their continued growth. Attending conferences helps strengthen the home-school partnership, ensuring that we are working together to provide the best possible learning experience for your child.
Why Conferences Matter
- Understand Your Child’s Progress – Teachers will share work samples, assessment results, and learning goals.
- Strengthen the Home-School Connection – Open communication between parents and teachers is key to student success.
- Discuss Support Strategies – Learn how you can reinforce learning at home and collaborate with teachers on the next steps.
Conference Schedule
- Thursday, March 13 | 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday, March 14 | 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
How to Sign Up
Conference sign-ups will open on Tuesday, March 4, at 8:00 AM.
Conference Tips & Best Practices
- Partnering with Teachers – Whenever possible, both the English and Immersion teachers will attend conferences together.
- Including Support Staff – If your child works with an interventionist, they may join the conference to provide additional insights.
- Planning Ahead – These conference dates have been scheduled for over a year. If you are unable to attend, please communicate with your child’s teacher to explore options.
Consistency Matters!
To ensure fairness, all families will receive the conference sign-up link at the same time. Thank you for helping us maintain an equitable process for all families. We appreciate your commitment to your child’s education and look forward to connecting with you during conferences!
Read Across America Week 2025: Create & Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers!
