Homepage: Meet Mrs. McKenzie

Hello! I’m Mrs. McKenzie, and I am so excited for this school year! I have been teaching for over 12 years now. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my husband and 2 German Shepherd dogs named Tango & Cash. We especially love exploring national parks!  I also enjoy crocheting, baking, camping, hiking, kayaking and reading.  

My educational background includes a B.A. in Middle Childhood Education from Colorado Christian University and a M.A. in Special Education: Gifted & Talented Specialist from the University of Northern Colorado. 

My Colorado teaching license endorsements include Elementary Education (K-6), Secondary Science Education (7-12) and Gifted & Talented Specialist (P-12).
