This week we learned about words having bossy ir in them, worked on writing a class chapter book, worked with writing and finding main ideas, verb tenses, and time.

I updated READ plans for the middle of the year benchmark and they were sent home in folders.

Our morning class is collecting BOX TOPS and competing for a school prize. Please send them in.

Work from the past month was sent home in folders.  Please empty and check out what we have been learning.

Butter Braid forms are being sent home in Friday Folders.

• Order forms with money will be due to PM teachers on February 19. Please do not count or reorganize any funds. Place all forms & monies as they are into the classroom envelope. Classroom envelopes are to be turned into the office. (Late order forms with money can be turned into the office through the 21st.)
• This year we are also taking online orders. Orders can be placed by searching for a child's first or last name at bit.ly/butterbraids2020. Please share this link in your classroom newsletters.
• Butter Braids will be delivered to school on February 26th and pickup must be arranged by the families. Butter Braids come frozen and we cannot store them beyond the delivery day.
• The highest individual seller will be awarded a pass to Boondocks. The highest selling average PM classroom will get an ice cream party during the week of March 2nd (exact time TBD).

Candygram This is being organized by Mrs. Conder's 5/6th grade class to fundraise towards the Outdoor Ed trip. Order forms will be due in Mrs. Conder's box by Feb 10th. Delivery will be Feb 13th. This is a cash-only fundraiser.

Our morning class has started practicing for International Day on February 28^th.  If you are available to help and need volunteer hours, please let me know and in what capacity.
