Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who created the fantastic Enchanted Forest themed book fair! We appreciate all of the time and energy that went into coordinating with Scholastic Books and planning the special events!!!
 
For those parents that did volunteer and/or donate items for Family Night- don’t forget to log your hours and turn in your receipts!!!!
 
We have another busy week at GVA-DC! 
 
Fun Run Kickoff Assembly Information
The Fun Run Kickoff will be held on Tuesday, September 24th in the cafeteria. Each assembly will take approximately 30 minutes. Teachers should plan on having their students seated in the cafeteria prior to the start time of their assembly to keep everyone on schedule!

Site Visit Information
On Wednesday, September 25th a review team will be at GVA-DC from 7:45 am – 1:00 pm as part of the DCSD Charter Renewal Application process. The review team will interview administrators, board members and teachers as well as conduct classroom visits. 
 
International Day Information
International Day is FREE DRESS DAY for students!
