This year, Global Village Academy is using the Douglas County School District's Express Check-In system through the Parent Portal. Completing Express Check-In is required for all returning students and must be completed before Thursday, August 6, to ensure your child is fully checked in for the new school year.

Before You Begin, please note:
- At least one parent or guardian from each household must create a Parent Portal account and complete Express Check-In.
- Express Check-In must be completed on a computer. The process is not supported on mobile devices.
- Complete Express Check-In by Thursday, August 6, before attending our In-Person Student Check-In on Thursday, August 6.
Technology & Instructional Materials Fee
As part of the Express Check-In process, families will be asked to pay the required $165 Technology Fee for each student in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
This annual fee directly supports the instructional resources your child uses throughout the school year, including:
- Online curriculum and digital learning platforms used during daily instruction and homework
- Supplemental educational software and instructional resources
- Student consumable materials
- Classroom supplies used for learning activities, assignments, projects, and other instructional materials that students use throughout the year
This fee helps ensure every student has access to the high-quality instructional resources that support learning both at school and at home.

What is Express Check-In?

Who needs to complete Express Check-In?

Can I complete Express Check-In on my phone?
No. Express Check-In must be completed on a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile devices and tablets are not fully supported.

Please create one using the link above. If you experience difficulties creating or accessing your account, contact your student's school office for assistance.
I forgot my Parent Portal username or password. What should I do?
Use the "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password" links on the Parent Portal login page. If you continue to have trouble accessing your account, please contact the DCSD Help Desk at (303) 387-0001 for assistance.
When is the deadline?
Please complete Express Check-In no later than Thursday, August 6, 2026, so your student is ready for the first day of school.
