Jeans for Dreams: Support Our Sister School in Liberia

Beginning Friday, February 6, GVA-DC will raise funds for New Dimension of Hope (NDH) to support our sister school in Liberia. Our school-wide goal is $3,000.

Student enrollment at NDH is over 1,600 children, creating a great need for desks, chairs, school supplies, and additional teachers.

How Students Can Participate:

  • Students may wear jeans every Friday in February by donating $1 per Friday.
  • Uniform or spirit shirts must be worn with jeans.
  • Donations will be collected in classrooms each Friday morning.
  • AM classes will compete to raise the most money (averaged per student). The winning class will earn a S’mores Party.
  • Families are encouraged to help students earn donations through “heroic” efforts at home, like chores.

Thank you for supporting our students as they embrace their bilingual brilliance and become tomorrow’s leaders. Let’s make this week unforgettable!
