Your Child’s CMAS Scores Will Be Available May 29th – Here’s How to View Them

If your student was excused from CMAS state testing, please disregard the message below.

Dear GVA-DC Families,

We are incredibly proud of the growth and achievement our students demonstrated throughout the school year. In April, students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 participated in the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) where they showcased their knowledge and skills aligned with Colorado’s academic standards.

This year, for the first time, DCSD will no longer mail hard copies of CMAS score reports. Beginning on May 29, 2026, you will be able to access your child’s CMAS score reports electronically through the Pearson’s Family Portal. This secure and user-friendly platform offers timely access to your child’s performance information.

Here’s How You Can Access Your Child's CMAS Report

  • Visit the Family Portal
  • You’ll need the following information to log in:
  • Student’s Last Name
  • Student’s First Name
  • Student’s Date of Birth
  • Student’s State ID (SASID) - This 10-digit number can be found in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal under your student’s profile.

What You’ll Find in the Report

Final score reports released June 15:

  • Strengths and areas for growth
  • Comparisons to peers at the school, district, and state levels
  • Suggestions for supporting learning at home

Helpful tools including:

  • A video guide
  • A detailed explanation of how to interpret results

A Note about Social Studies Testing

CMAS social studies assessments are only given at a rotating sample of schools selected by the state, so not all students participate in that subject every year in grades 4 and 7.

CMAS Is Just One Piece of the Puzzle

These scores are one measure of your child’s academic progress. We encourage you to review CMAS results alongside classroom performance, grades, and teacher feedback to gain a more complete picture of your student’s growth.

If you have trouble accessing the Family Portal or need help locating your student’s SASID, please contact your school office or reach out to us for assistance.

Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education.

Sincerely,

Katie Lynch
