Beginning in spring 2026, paper-and-pencil tests will no longer be used, except for students with accommodations. The optional SAT Writing section will also end.
Accommodations could be:

- Have a neurological disorder (such as a recent concussion), a condition that causes seizures, or another health condition that prevents the student from accessing the computer
- Braille/Large Print
- Adaptive equipment is not compatible
