Admissions Process

Global Village Academy-Douglas County (GVA-DC) is a tuition-free, public charter school open to all students. We are committed to providing a diverse, global education that prepares students for a rapidly changing world.

Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. However, priority is given to:
  • Siblings of currently enrolled students (including children whose primary guardians share custody of at least 50% of the time).
  • Children of school employees (including those who work at least half-time and have custody of the child, with employment starting on or before the first day of school in the year of application).

Enrollment at GVA Douglas County begins with the completion of the Family Interest Form.

If a seat is available in your preferred language village, in mid-November, you will receive an email invitation to accept or decline your seat. After acceptance, families will receive an online registration link to complete the admission process.
