Hi Dragon Families!
We are learning in the second week, Unit 2. The students have been working so hard in preparing for International Day and we are all looking forward to their performance! Please continue to remind the students about following the Dragon way: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Ready to Learn. Dragon Hearts are always earned for making good decisions. Green communication folders are due on Friday. BINGO earns Treasure Box prizes for individual student Reading Logs (15 min of reading per day, color a star). It is also encouraged for students to practice IReady Reading lessons daily, if they can. Words to practice with "Automaticity" are listed on the back of the Interactive Texts (60 second Reading game). Test your skills! Fluency folders are going home with families during scheduled conferences. If this folder comes to school on Friday, they will get a new story to practice with.
