About Greg Trifolo

Dr. Greg Trifilo is a family medicine and public health physician serving on the Global Village Academy–Douglas County Board of Directors. A member of the Dragon community since 2019, Greg and his wife have two sons in the Mandarin Village, now in 4th and 6th grade. After two years working in Washington, D.C., the Trifilo family recently returned to Colorado and is excited to rejoin the GVA community. Greg previously served on the Board in 2023–2024 and is eager to continue supporting the school’s mission of bilingualism and global learning.

Originally from Illinois, Greg earned a biomedical engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his medical doctorate from Loyola University Chicago. Raised in a military family, he has lived and worked around the world, including in Germany, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine, Peru, and western Africa. When not working or volunteering, Greg enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his family, their Golden Retriever, and their lively cat.
