Dear Families,

 

I am Vivian Mitchell! I am so excited to be the Middle School Spanish Teacher this new school year at Global Village Academy DC.  I am very delighted to have your child in my class this year. I am looking forward to a very successful year and I know you are too. I have high expectations for your child and I will do all that I can help your child achieve those expectations.

 

I would like to take the opportunity to share a little about myself. I am from Peru and I completed my studies at Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón (UNIFE) in my native country, where I received my degree in Elementary Education.

I have 20 years of great experiences working as a teacher in both Peru and the U.S. I will be teaching your child vocabulary, grammar, writing and reading in Spanish.

 

As parents and guardians, I understand that you are the most important teachers in your child’s life. I am always available to meet with you. Communication is a huge part of your child’s success.
