Hi! My name is Mrs. Jeanne Gregory. I live in Parker with my husband Art and our daughter Lily. We have two pet rabbits: Fluffy and Puffy. I enjoy traveling & being with friends and family. I will be your child’s 2nd grade English Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. I have taught various grades here at GVA over the past five years, but 2nd grade is my favorite and I am excited to return to it!
I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, where I was one of six children. As a child, I enjoyed swimming and playing soccer. In the summers of my teen years, I worked as a lifeguard and taught Red Cross swimming lessons, which began my love of teaching
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Many years later, I attended Metro State University in Denver, where I graduated in 2016 with the degree of Master of Arts in Teaching - Elementary Education. I currently possess a professional teaching license issued from the Colorado Department of Education, as well as an Early Childhood Education qualification from the Colorado Department of Human Services.
