GVA Seal of Biliteracy Awards

Global Village Academy students can earn the GVA Seal of Biliteracy in 8th Grade and the GVA Junior Seal of Biliteracy in 5th Grade, both recognize and celebrate their progress toward biliteracy.

Earning a Jr. Seal of Biliteracy puts students on track to earn a full GVA Seal of Biliteracy in 8th Grade, and eventually the Colorado Seal of Biliteracy on their high school diplomas. High school students who earn the full recognition receive an official recognition on their transcript, and universities including University of Colorado and Colorado State may award undergraduate credits for the seal.
