This week we learned about words having r blends, we compared and contrasted two Dr. Seuss books, we wrote a book review, we wrote using opinion writing, reviewed rhyming words, talked more about contractions, and had fun with celebrating Read Across America.

Reminder, if you have not completed volunteer hours you can purchase items for the auction or the classroom.  For every $10 it counts towards one volunteer hour.  One suggestion would be to buy books from Scholastic for our classroom by using my online wish list.  Please ask if you have any questions.  I have appreciated those who have helped either finanacially or with their time this school year.

PIC still needs help filling the position of community rewards.  This person helps monitor things like Box Tops and King Soopers money earned.  Please contact them or me if interested.

Spirit Night on Monday, March 9th at Subway, 12155 Lioness Way. This is an all day event at a GVA Family owned establishment. 15% will be donated to the school. Please add this information to your classroom newsletters and distribute the flyers tomorrow.

Thursday, March 12 and Friday March 13, 2020 there is no school due to conferences.  I am looking forward to talking to those of you who signed up.
