I am blessed to be teaching Second Grade at GVA! As with all elementary classrooms, I have a LOT of hands-on learning lessons that require cutting, pasting and laminating and assembling. If you can help with this at home or at the school I would LOVE it!
Also needed, is an extra pair of hands, ears and eyes. This need is pretty much all day long except Specials and Lunch. If you are available to come in and work with a small group or with individuals, I would welcome your help. The best times for this "in person" assistance are:
You may come for as long as works for you, daily/weekly/monthly, as your schedule allows, just let me know ahead of time so I can have an idea of who I want you to work with that day. If this could be a somewhat regular volunteer time it would make a huge difference in the learning of the students. Consistency really has an impact!
