About Ann Steers

 

This is my eighth year teaching art at Global Village Academy in Parker. I love combining our GVA mission of cultural competency and art.  Previously, I have taught art (K-12), preschool, kindergarten, and first grade for 28 years in Parker and Northern California. My husband Ty and I have four sons. Our family has grown to include 3 daughters-in-law and our beautiful grand-babies! I love children and teaching in creative, hands-on ways. As an artist I enjoy sculpture, watercolor, oil and textile arts. When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my family.
